He found himself unable to move, stuck in a tug of war in his head. "We have to warn the village and evacuate!" says the dutiful ant in him. "Rise up and fight! Theres no chance we can run away, so fight!" Says the boar in him. "Run! Use the trees to block its view and run!" Says the rabbit in him. But the side that was winning was the turtle in him. "Stay still. Nothing has happened yet, so stay still, wait for help." the turtle says. So he sat as still as he could, watching the creature look down at him with that eyeless, featureless face. He was surprised he was still alive to be honest, the creature could definitely chase him down, and easily make him dead in a fight.So why wasn he?Perhaps it wants something from him? But what?
