Chapter 16: 大雨

[Heavy rain]

In a rainy season, not only you would never know when it would rain, you also won’t know how big the rain could be.

Looking at the smile that suddenly appeared on Gu Lang’s face, Chen Xing’s cheeks suddenly burned a little and he hurriedly averted his eyes, pretending to stare calmly at the small puddle of water that had accumulated in the courtyard, watching the ripples that gradually rose in that puddle the moment the raindrops fell.

 

When the heat on Chen Xing’s face had gone down, he quietly turned his head towards Gu Lang again and looked at him.

When they had eaten lunch and rested a little, the originally cloudy sky suddenly cleared up.

 

Chen Xing looked at the sky showing the sun and felt that God was helping them.
He turned his head and smiled at Gu Lang next to him, “The sky is clear, we will set off later.”
