Tower of Madness

Izaak couldn see it but the hand behind her back was emitting a blue light.

When Izaak was nearing the woman, he activated his skill his whole body started emitting a dark light and he disappeared in the shadow of the tree besides him.

The man thats following him, noticed that when he passed by the tree he couldn see his enemy anymore, but he could see the terrified woman, who by now was sitting on the floor looking at him with extreme fear.

It became clear to the man that Izaak used this woman as a bait so he could run away from him, but for him it didn make a big difference he couldn slain him now, but later he will.

So, he did another check around him to see if he could find Izaak, but when he didn , he started running in the womans direction and his hand started emitting a brown light.

When the woman saw the brown hand nearing her face, she showed a smirk and used the blue glowing hand behind her back to defend from the attack, the mans hand instantly froze, and the ice started expanding to the rest of his body.

But the woman misjudged the mans strength because her whole arm bend and a bone was spiking out of it. She showed a surprised face, but it didn take long for it to be replace by pain.

Both was feeling extreme pain, as they fell on the ground and started screaming, the man was even releasing a tear as his whole arm had already freeze and the ice started expanding toward his chest.

Its at that moment that the shadow of the man trembled and Izaak appeared from it, he used his feet to crush the womans neck while he watched the man being frozen to death.

As the womans corpse started glowing white and flickering, he released his feet from the woman and ran to the mans side and crushed his head as its freezing.

This only happened because its their first fight in the Tower, especially the woman, she probably didn count with her lower vitality points. Izaak thought as he searched around to see if any other participant was close.

When he didn notice anyone, he started checking the drops from the two bodies that disappeared from the ground. He knew that drops existed from the Returner that released information from the Tower on Earth.

From the womans loot theres a small ice blue dagger, the dagger looked rusted, and Izaak even had the impression that it wouldn cut anything, he picked it and tested on the leaves on the ground and for his surprise the leaves was cut it, even if badly.

From the mans loot theres a pair of brown gloves, the gloves were thick and fitted perfectly for his hands, even if they seemed big when he saw then on the ground.

He clearly noticed the connection between the loot and the classes from his enemies, but besides the color these items had nothing else special about them. This was something that the Returners never talked about.

Maybe its because these two were low level. Izaak thought. ”I wonder what I would drop. ” He said lost in his thoughts.

He started thinking about his skill mana consumption, he remembers that when he awakened his skill it spent 1 mana per second, and when he reached level 2 it started spending 1 mana each 2 seconds.

But now, he maintened his skill for about 8 seconds when hes in the trees shadow, but it didn spend all his mana as he thought it would, it only spent 4 mana points. His skill was spending the same amount as a level 2 skill.

This is probably because of the reward from the Tower. He thought as he opened his Status Screen.
