Soft, quiet chirps from nearby birds were heard in the distance as Mark shot up from his sleep.

Sweat dripped down his face; He had a bad feeling; everything was quiet, too quiet. Mark looks at his surroundings slowly; the Orage wolf was nowhere to be seen.

The male rushes out of the cave to see him nowhere in the village, and Okami isn known to run off by himself. Mark runs to the Brothers den and yells from the entrance,

”guys, get up; Okami is gone. I can find him anywhere; he was just next to me when we had fallen asleep. ”

Both of the Wolves eyes go wide as they rush out towards Mark.

”I have an idea where Okami might be; there was always noise coming from a door located behind the main desk. It was prohibited for us to enter, but Okami might be there. ”

Mark sighs as he lays his head down on the back of Monsters neck while on their way to the designated location.

Upon arriving at the location, no workers were to be seen; everything was silent. The group could hear occasional whispers beyond a door located behind the main desk. They made their way to the door, being careful not to make a sound; after some troubles, the door opens without a single noise in the process.

The group of them stands up, soon realizing that none could make an illusion to make them invisible. They had no choice but to have Solstice try and make an illusion strong enough to hide them.

They soon start to make their way down the metal stairs where a dim light could be seen.

”Glad you guys could finally make it. Also, Solstice, feel free to drop the illusion. You should know by now that you
e not capable of doing it. ” Archen chuckles as he turns to the group.

Mark takes in their surroundings as he spots Okami not far from them in a tube full of green liquid, as he saw little pipes connecting to his entire body. Archen looks over to mark to see he had been staring at what they had come for.

”Beautiful isn he, infinite abilities. And a widespread of emotions, quite the character. The anticipation to just see his insane form, how beautiful it must be. ”

Mark looks at Archen in shock as he makes his way to his desk. Scientists start to pile up into the room as they make their way to the group, pinning them against the wall.

”You know Mark; son, I had always liked you. You were always so driven to achieve. But you had to find out about these creatures; you always wanted them to be safe. But today, I will change that by showing you guys the real reason why these Beasts should be wiped out. ”

Archen says as a smirk appears on his face; the tube that Okami had been held in opened as Okami fell to the floor. The male then steps to some audio player as he suddenly plays a sound that animals had dreaded most.

Monster gets out of the grip he was in to cover his brothers ears as Mark runs to Okamiss side, but it was too late.

The silence among them soon broke to screeching noises coming from Okami. His ears were going everywhere as he desperately tried to keep the noise out but to no avail.

Growls soon emerged from Okami, as his body began to take form into what humans called their insane form.

All of Okamis stitching had split open into sections, where teeth grew out of the inside gaps of his ears. One newer stitch formed on his tail as it tore open as well, as teeth and a long tongue came out of it.

Spikes started to grow out of his chest and his neck, as nails were extending. His mussel pushed in as stitches glided across where his eyes would be located. His mouth opens slowly to show two rows of teeth as a long, intimidating tongue comes out.

The creature stands on his hind legs, going to a full height of 65 ”. Soon letting out a roar, a few crackled chirps in between.

The creatures head snaps in all directions trying to listen for any victims that may be nearby.

”Oh, I was right; you are beautiful, indeed. Such evident features, so very intimidating. Go on and show these people just how evil your kind is. ” Archen spoke up, only to have the beast snap its head in his direction and run towards him with all of his mouths open.

Archens eyes go wide as he starts to back away from the beast, realizing the mistake that he had made. He soon runs to the door and locks it behind him;

The creature lets out another roar as it pounces on one of the scientists, and the teeth on his tail impaled the other one, instantly killing both of the scientists in the process.

Monster looks over to the beast with a scared expression on his face, ”Okami, what did he turn you into? I can see that you are hurting from within. Let us help you break free, Okami. ” Monster softly spoke to the creature as he slowly sauntered towards him.

The Creature rushes towards Monster, Monster tries to use his intimidation, but the creature just passes through it, not long after pouncing on him. Monster cries out as the beasts claws start to shred his fur;

Solstice runs to his brother as he jumps on the creatures back, clawing at him the best he could.

The creature drops Monster clawing at Solstice as he throws him across the room. The beast makes his way to solstice, taking his head into his large hand.

”Get away from my brother, Okami. Im your opponent, not him. ” The creature gets up not before creating a large gash on solstices chest; once turned around,the creature opens its mouth only to ignite a flame inside from within it.

Monsters eyes go wide as fire is shot straight at him, burning his fur in the process.

Mark sees the scene happening in front of him as he rushes to the creature to get his focus off of Monster. The creature looks over in Marks direction as all of its mouths opened, soon picking up the human.

The monster starts using mind control as Marks eyes go wide, obviously scared of what was surrounding him. The Beast walks away from him, making his way to Monster.

e the strongest animal. ” Monster says as a smirk grows on his face; the monsters eyes start to glow as it starts getting impatient.

The creature suddenly backs away as a spear is shoved right through him. Shaking its head, it rips the spear right out of him, blood slowly leaking out of him in the process.

Chuckling to itself, It sets itself on fire.

Flame Body! What are we supposed to do now? Monster thinks to himself.

”Look, Okami, I am proud that you now have all of your forms, but look around us. Control yourself; I know your parents would try the same thing. I don care if you kill me;

I just want you to know that Im proud of you and that I had always believed in you. ”

Mark says with a smile on his face. But gets cut off as the creature impales its hand through Marks stomach. As Mark drops to the floor, a blood pool starts to form underneath him.

The creature then makes his way to Monster as chains appeared from behind him, opening Monsters mouth. Poison comes from the creatures mouth as it slowly seeped into Monster.

Monster slowly loses consciousness as the beast is knocked out. Screeching noises were heard once more as the creature tried to stay out longer but soon formed back into a very bloody Okami.

Solstice slowly gets up, destroying the noise as he then walks over to Okami, ”Okami, get up, please. I know you didn mean to; I just need you. ” Solstice whispers to himself, Okamis body starts to shuffle as he slowly gets up.

”What happened, what did I do. Are you Okay, Solstice. ” Okami stops talking as he looks around him to see the damage that he had caused to everyone.

He started to break down; I killed my friends, how and why?

Solstice hugs the wolf as he softly spoke to him, ”It seems your insane form is much stronger than mine; I know how you feel. I was just like you when I had killed my parents, I didn want to accept it, but I had to. ”

The two stayed like that for a few but not before seeing a bright light coming from behind them; Okami turns around only to see his mother standing right in front of him with a smile on her face.

Mist Of Memories, I almost forgot.

The green wolf walks up to Okami before speaking up, ”Hikari, oh my, how youve grown. I see that it has happened; you have received all of your forms. Mamoru the protector form, and Kyoki the insane form. I understand that you might not like, Kyoki right now, but I believe that he will be a great help in the war. ”

Okamis eyes start to water as he gives his mother a big hug.

”Its been 20 years, mother; I miss you and dad a lot. I don even know how to take in all of the things I had done; you tell me to befriend my insane form but didn you tell me yourself that insane forms are hard to control.

How do I control him then. ” Okami cries softly into his mothers fur as she rubs small circles on his back.

”Its true that insane forms cannot be controlled, but its not about that, Hikari. You gain his trust, give him hope. I can sense he is scared of humanity and what lies next.

Prove to him that you are worthy of his power, and work together to win this war. I have to go, but I wish to hear from you again. Till next time ”. Okamis mother soon fades away but not before saying one last thing to the orange wolf.

”Take my power; it shall help you with your loss. ”

Solstice looks over to the orange wolf, happy that he had a chance to talk to his mother again.

”So that was your mother, she seems lovely. I also didn know your name was Hikari; its a nice name. ” Okami turns to solstice and gives him a laugh before responding.

”Yeah, that was my mother; she was the best. She had died when I was only 4, but those years I had with her were amazing. For my name, it was initially Hikari, meaning light; my mother always knew I would be the light of the world like I was in hers. I had only changed it because I was scared to accept the truth myself. ”

Solstice nods toward the wolf, trying his best to help Okami through his current pain.

Okami wipes his tears, figuring it was time to head back home. Both Solstice and Okami grabbed both of their friends limp bodies as they made their way back to their small town.

”Monster, Mark, Im so sorry I wish I had control over myself. ”
