The air goes silent as both animals in the room were looking at each other.

”Prove to me, Mamoru, that you are who you say you are. ”

The shadow says to Mamoru, not able to see each other to much.

Mamoru just smiles at the other animal as he shuffles, breaking the illusion in the process.

As the animal is up, he snaps his fingers as the chains on the other animals soon disappear as well.

”Those chains have always been an illusion, too strong for you to break. That green animal mustve made when you had first arrived. ”

The animal just nods, agreeing with the double eared wolf.

”Well, since we
e going to be staying with each other, my name is Monster. I thought that would be important for you to know.

But know that we are both free from the chains, how are we supposed to get out of this lab. ”

Monster says with a slight hint of worry in his tone.

”I have an invisible ability; thats how I got here; we just need to make sure that green animal doesn see us. ”

Monster just laughs

”You mean amzi? That man-made abomination? Don worry about him; he should be out during these hours. He only comes early morning to check up on all of us. ”

Mamoru just nods as Monster gets onto Mamorus back; they then took their leave.

After reaching safety, Mamorus invisibility wears off as Monsyer gets off of his back.

They soon start to make their way to Ōkamis den.

Stopping in front of the cave mouth, Mamoru speaks up.

”Ill have to go, for now, I will surely come back out again. For now you shall meet my host form, Ōkami. ”

That was the last thing the grey wolf heard from the double eared wolf, he soon sees Mamorus body begin to change form.

With all of this happening, Mark exits the cave, wondering what was happening outside.

Monster noticed him as his start to glow, he soon pounces on top of him.

Okami opens his eyes as he sees the fight that was taking place in front of him, Monster was using his intimidation ability while trying to get Mark.

The orange wolf sighs as he tears the two apart and stands in front of Mark.

”Your with this human, Ōkami? Ill have you know that he has worked alongside Archen himself. Hes going to have a piece of my mind. ”

Ōkami shakes his head at Monster and tell him that Mark was the one who had helped when he was dying and freed him from that place.

Eventually everything calms down as Mark soon breaks the silence.

”So, Monster, do you have any of their abilities, other than your intimidation ability? ”

Monster just smirks at the male as he shows lightning sparks coming out of his hands.

”I used to be the only one of my kind to have two abilities until rumors started to go around about a new animal being born, an animal who would have and endless amount of abilities.

The one who would bring balance into this disastrous world. ”

Monster replies to the male as he looked at Ōkami, what had a confused look on his face.

An endless amount of abilities; why was he looking at me when he said that? We
e the rumors about me? I only have one for now, but how do I get the rest of my abilities then?

Okami just sighs as he looks at the ground.

Monster just laughs at Ōkamis confused expression.

” you have no idea about our animals past, do you. Ōkami, you have the three forms that our ancestors had, you, The protector form, and the insane form.

It also says that you have to make specific decisions or actions to heighten your other abilities. Just like your force-field, for example, that is not your only ability. It just happened to come out first due to the situation you were in at the time. ”

Monster explains to Ōkami, as he gives the grey wolf a simple nod.

Ōkami takes his fluffy hair into his hands, feeling stupid for not knowing the history behind his own kind;

Who could save the world with that kind of thinking.

”Sorry for not understanding; Im not quite used to all this stuff yet; Im still trying to figure out what to do.

All I know is that Archen wants to start a war; we just need to gather more animals. ”

Monster nods towards Ōkami before adding to what he had said,

”I don doubt that Amzi is going to be fighting on Archens side; no one but you will be able to take on Amzis powers, theres no changing his mind either, its mind is too clouded by all of the purple liquid pumping into him all the time. ”

Ōkami just nods at this new given information,

so Im going to have to fight that thing; I mean, no one else can handle his power. Something suddenly hit Ōkami. How did Mark escape? Wants he with me, though, when we had initially went.

”Hey Mark, how did you exactly escape? We had originally gone together, but I didn see you in the room with Monster and me, ”

Ōkami says with curiosity in his voice ; Mark just laughs.

”Its hard to explain, but they never really locked me up. I had to lie about he actually being on your side to escape, but that was just to escape. ”

Ōkami nods understanding the males intentions as he tells Mark how they had escaped from the laboratory.

They all make their way into the cave as blankets were seen scattered around the floor as a built in fire was made in the wall.

”Mark, did you do all of this? If so, you didn have to; Monster and I can survive with the warmth of our fur. ”

Mark just smiles at the animal as he shakes his head.

”No, its fine; honestly m, I just wanted to make this place more comfortable for all of us. I mean, we will be staying here until your kind is free after the war. ”

Ōkami just nods as he lays on the comfortable warmth of the blankets that were under and over him.

Mark is right. If we are all going to be living here, we mine as well get comfortable. But if we gather all of the animals that we can,

There will be no room for all of us.

We could build homes and dens for animals to live in and possibly have a training area for practice before the war.

Ōkami smiles at the thought as Monster and Mark give Ōkami a confused look, wondering what was getting this animal all excited.

”If we are going to be staying here, we mine as well make other homes and dens; all of us and the other animals won be able to fit in this one cave.

I thought we could also make a training area for all of the animals to use so we have something to practice on before the war. ”

Monster and Mark just look at Ōkami with a shocked expression. It was a lot to ask for, all so suddenly.

Ōkami understood that it was probably wouldn be possible as he dropped his head.

He just wanted to make a safe place for all of the other animals,

A place with no fear, a place like his village were kids could play around without a care in the world.

He didn want them to go through the pain that he had been through.

”Its not impossible, Ōkami, I was just shocked. Honestly, thats a good idea; to get the trust of many, we should create a save haven for. ”

Mark says as he makes out of the cave to get some materials.

Both of the animal nod toward each other, understanding that they should probably help Mark build, soon collecting wood and other materials to build houses and targets.

After hours of work, they managed to finish a couple of houses and a couple targets.

Now that we have a start, how are we supposed to make them to where they won get destroyed; Mamoru do you have an idea?

”Yes, he is just like you; he has an indestructible ability which allows object to not be affected by our abilities. ”

Ōkami just nods but soon asks,

”Well who can help us exactly? The animal with an indestructible Ability. ”

Monster just crosses his arms as he rolls his eyes. He didn want to bring him into this, but did they really have a choice.

”I know who Mamoru is talking about, I didn want to bring him into this, but at this point, I can avoid him anymore;

Mamoru is talking about my Brother, Solstice. He can change those targets, and if I remember correctly, he should be visiting our parents at this hour. ”

Ōkami nods towards Monster as Mark decides to stay back to work on the village a bit more.

On the road, Ōkami can help but notice Monsters worried expression.

”Hey Monster, you alright? You seem shaken up. Did something happen with you and Solstice.

Monster sighs shaking his head up and down.

”We used to get along when we were younger, he has another form just like you, but only the insane form and not the protector form.

One day a group of scientist had invaded our town, forcing Solstice to shift into his insane form. He immediately killed my parents and a few of the scientists, hurting me in the process. They ended up taking me away;

I had been in the laboratory ever since. I haven seen Solstice since that incident, I also wanted to thank you for helping me escape. ”

”Ive never heard of an animal only having an insane form and not having a protector form; he is special, alright. He could help us win this war Ōkami. ”

The orange wolf nods at Mamoru, also nodding at Monster, understanding the pain that he had went through.

Upon arriving at the location, Ōkami spots a burnt down village, as they see a great wolf with a green bandanna around his neck, sitting by one of the burnt down houses speaking in their language.

Monster looked shocked as he walks up to his brother, giving him a big hug in the process.

”Where have you been? I haven seen you in a while. ”

Solstice just smiles as he hugs his brother back, tears running down his face.

”I missed you as well; I also want to apologize for what I had done when we were younger; I never wanted to kill our parents or you.

If I had the chance to change what had happened, I would. Mom and Dad would be so proud of you, Monster. ”

Solstice soon spots Ōkami in the distance as the orange wolf walked up to the both of them.

”Who is this Monster? ”

The grey wolf asked his brother, wondering who his friend was.

”This is Ōkami, the animal from the rumors; he is the one who will save our kind. He is the one who had helped me escape the laboratory; without him, I would still be trapped. ”

Solstices eyes go wide as he looks back at Ōkami ; he had always wanted to meet the secret wolf from the rumors. When he had heard the rumors he was excited to have another wolf like him in the world.
