Just a Little Lovesick

With a fixed gaze, Grish stared down Scylica, who looks like a hot potato. She towers above Scylica by three inches.

Still, Scylica wasn afraid of a height difference. She has honed her body for many years now and has multiple battle experiences from her hunts.

”Hehe… Lets go then, little girl! If I win, Im taking that boy of yours! ” She grins confidently.

Grish charges forward with an impending strike.

Scylica lunges to block the fist with her well-endowed shins.

*Clink*

Grish pulls back her left hand while flicking it before launching a straight punch. Her right-hand punch is considerably more powerful than her left since she was able to close in on Scylica.

Scylica instantly raises up both of her arms just in time to absorb the shock. But since she was only standing on one leg, it caused her to be pushed back a few feet: leaving a dirt trail the size of her foot.

She falls on her bum but rolls over to quickly stand again.

”That all you can do? ”

Grish smashes her fist and palm together: taunting Scylica.

Scylica charges searing mana into her knuckles.

They both dashed into each other with barrages of punches and kicks. Each blow Scylica made, an unwelcoming fire-blast would be released in the same direction.

Scylica manages to block and dodge most of the devastating blows while Grish tanked Scylicas vicious efforts gallantly.

While they were busy in a standoff, I quickly got up to try and help Scylica.

But what can I really do? Im not as powerful as Scylica nor do I have the massive body of a beast like Grish…

Argh! I can dwell on thinking. Ill just do something, anything, as long as its helpful to Scylica!

I point my index finger at Grish and focused all of my mana into the tip. Soon, it began vibrating with minuscule sparks.

There we go!

Lightning magic: one of hardest elemental magic to master.

I arched back my arm and took a left-step forward.

Here we go!

I lunge forward, with a right-step, and released my arm from its tightened position.

*Zzzzewww*

”Aahw~ ” Grish moaned as her tail was struck.

Scylica took this chance to grab onto Grishs arm and use it as a footing.

As soon as Grish felt a heavy weight on her arm, it was already too late.

Scylica twirled into the air and spun rapidly. As she descended, she hurls her leg pricecly into Grishs jaw.

*Crack*

Grish falls into a daze as she spits out a bloody tooth.

The crowd around them cheered and the knight claps. They adored the infighting and wouldn dare to stop the violence.

Scylica lands a few feet away from her, still eager to fight.

I, on the other hand, wanted to leave. However, I can because of the crowd and Scylicas ignorance. She just wouldn back down from the fight.

”You… You stupid little boy! Ill make you regret interfering our fight! ” She glares at me.

”You
e too slow, fattie. ” I smirked.

”Argh! ” She charges towards me like a bull.

I open my arms and braced for impact.

*Squish*

Grish grabs ahold of my waist and her fingers sunk in. I could feel my guts being crushed by her sheer strength.

I held onto her horns and screamed, ”Thunder! ”

*Bzzz*

Nothing happened…? How come?!

”Ouph! ” I felt my back slamming against the rough bark of a tree.

In the distance, I could see Scylica running towards me, worriedly.

”Heres what you get for not surrendering yourself to me! ” Grish strikes a powerful blow into my stomach.

You brat…

I could not even talk. My vision blurred and began to fade.

I took the full force of the blow since the tree had blocked me from flying outwards.

Scylica stood there with a blank expression. She knew that Jin was alive but also internally injured, and it may be a fatal one if his guts ruptured. This filled her with rage, a rage beyond her pettiness.

Without giving Grish a chance to defend herself, Scylica bursts into motion and places her palms on her back.

”Levitate. ” It is a basic magic spell; the strength varies base on the user.

Grish started to float.

Scylica continues her combo with a strong handstand-kick: sending Grish high into the air.

”What the- ”

Everyone watched the enormous cowgirl float in the air. She has already surpassed the height of three small trees combined.

Scylica flew instantly and appeared right above her.

She spins around like a firey tornado, charging her impact.

All of this was too sudden for Grish to take in. All she could think about was the danger that approached her, so she curled like a ball.

*BOOM*

As soon as her leg made contact with Grishs body, she uttered one simple word, ”Gravitate. ”

Grish felt her weight doubling.

She crashes into the ground. Sore and bruised, her body couldn keep itself together anymore. Her legs and arms sprawled outwards.

Scylica appears next to her.

Grish trembled.

”You wouldn hit me while Im down, would you? ”

”I would. You nearly took the love of my life away from me, yknow… I worked so hard and so long just to earn his affection! ” Her eyes teared up as her red face continues to burn with anger.

Scylica raises one of legs high into the air before stomping down with all of her strength: punishing the cowgirls abdomen.

”Stop! Stop! I won be able to have children if you keep going! ”

Although admist in crying, Scylica grinned sinisterly.

Right when she was about to strike again, the knight finally stops her.

”Shes right. You shouldn do this. We need more men in this world after all, no matter what race. ”

”Grr… ”

Scylica wipes off her disdained face and rushes towards Jin.

”Im so sorry Jin… I shouldve kept you closer… ”

I felt a familiar warmth wrapping itself around me. It was nice… and soft, very comforting.
