Chapter 12 “ 同居呀个同居 / Living Together”

   Hearing the younger man take initiative to mention living together made Qin Mu stunned, he had only mentioned it offhandedly during dinner.
Did that casual conversation prompt him (GQ)  into thinking that the matter was important to him? He raised his eyes and glanced over at the young man sitting beside him.
The latter did not know when he had looked away again.
From Qin Mu’s angle, he could just see the tops of Gu Qin’s thick and defined eyelashes.

    Qin Mu chuckled lightly, “Okay, I will try.” He just couldn’t help but want to watch Gu Qin blush.
When Gu Qin let go of his hand, Qin Mu smiled and accepted the previous topic, “Actually, I do want to move over and live with you.”

    The unexpected warmth startled Gu Qin into meeting the others’ eyes.
Then the following sentence came from this man full of surprises.
“But, you can move in.” 

    “En…”  Gu Qin was still immersed in the disappointment from a moment ago and still seemed to not catch the other’s meaning, his gaze was caught on the smiling eyes of the man.
Qin Mu slowed down and repeated: “I mean, you can move in with me and we can live together,”

  Was that a clear enough sentence for the other?

    Gu Qin blinked slowly as he lightly chewed his lower lip, and his voice came out so softly that only he could hear him: “Okay.”

 Qin Mu heard this and his eyes deepened, but seeing that someone was still awkward he didn’t forget to add: ” It’s also more convenient to go to work if we live together.” The two sat in the living room for a while together, and it was nine o’clock in the evening before they knew it.

    Gu Qin got up.
“I’m going back.”

    Qin Mu had wanted to keep the youth overnight but when he saw a familiar car parked downstairs, he changed his mind.
A strange color flashed through his dark eyes as he picked up his jacket and put it on.
Walking to Gu Qin who was standing in the hallway: “I will see you off.”

    Both of them walked slowly side-by-side across the hall and down the steps.
When they made it outside Gu Qin stopped.
” Go back in first.”

    The cool breeze of the night blew over his face, bringing a light chill with it.
Qin Mu insisted: “I will see you off first before going back upstairs.”

    Gu Qin’s eyes softened and his heart filled with warmth.
Reluctant to let the man stand outside in the chill, he suppressed the sentimental thoughts in his eyes and went to get into the car.
His object of affection suddenly pulled his sleeve so Gu Qin turned around and saw Qin Mu grinning sadly at him, ” I don’t get a Goodbye Kiss?”

    Fortunately, the darkness of night hid the red that quickly covered Gu Qin’s face.

    Every time he plays with this man, he is always at a disadvantage.
Gu Qin inevitably felt a little depressed.
Seeing the man raise his thick eyebrows, his smile like a pleased cat, he suddenly became annoyed.
Taking a step forward he pulls on the man’s arm.
Mashing their mouths together.

    When the fierce kiss was over, Gu Qin quickly made his escape into the waiting car and left.

    Seeing the car quickly disappearing in the night, Qin Mu, who had stayed in place, wiped his slightly injured mouth and grinned. Tsk tsk, don’t know how to kiss properly and yet going for a deep French kiss.
Qin Mu does not doubt that he had just received Gu Qin’s first kiss.
It seems that he will have to train his innocent lover in the future.
He shook his head, and when he turned around, the familiar car he saw had already driven away.

Entering the house he smelled the scent of rice floating in the air, and a hungry stomach’s loud gurgling was heard not too long after.

    Glancing at the young man’s stomach, Qin Mu twitched his mouth unceremoniously, “Have you eaten yet?”

    “En.”

    “Would you like to join me for a meal?”

    Gu Qin: “Okay.”

    Even in his last life, he was used to pampering himself, so even in this world Qin Mu teated himself well.
In total he had ordered four or five dishes just for himself, it was more than enough for two people.

With this new toy, Qin Mu of course wanted to show off in his circle of friends with Su Hanyu.
Not wanting to peacock too much he decided to only post a selfie of him with the expensive sports car… and added the two words “New Flame” of course.

    Several of the friends he shared with Su Hanyu sent him private messages to tease him that night, no one thought that the car was Qin Mu’s, while Su Hanyu remained silent as before.
Since the two broke up, Su Hanyu has not posted any news.

     Although Qin Mu and Gu Qin lived together, their intimate contact was limited to kissing.
