So I've been giving a lot of thought into what to get the baby this year. He's old enough to be part of the fun, but young enough that I can still choose what toys I'd like him to play with. I was really excited to learn about maukilo.com, a website that specializes in high quality, long lasting, and beautiful products.The crew at Maukilo were willing to provide me with a toy to review. With my 16 month old in mind, I chose the HABA Ducky Duck pulling animal. It's designed for ages 1 and up, and it reminded me of the classic pull toys from when I was a kid, but this one is better. When you pull the string the duck waddles across the floor!
Exciting for kids yes, but equally exciting for parents: The HABA Ducky Duck was named a 2009 Best Toy of the Year by Parents Magazine! The HABA Ducky Duck is made from beechwood, it's decorated beautifully with brightly colored, child safe paints and is made in Germany.
My toddler loves this. He waddles almost as much as Ducky Duck and he's so proud to point at it and shout "duCKKKKK." This is a great toy with great value and staying power.
