Donate a Coat, Get a Lands' End Discount
(If you are reading in a feed reader, you may have to click over to watch the video. Thanks!)
It's getting chilly in my part of the country and it's time to break out the winter coats. My kids have no doubt outgrown theirs from last year. They are gently used, but still have life left in them.
Wouldn't it be great to pass on your coats to someone who needs help staying warm this winter?
Lands' End has teamed up with the National Coalition for the Homeless for a program they are calling the Big Warm-up. Through this program, people across the country can donate their gently used coats which will be redistributed to the more than 3.5 million homeless women, men in children in the U.S. right now.
Beginning October 29 until November 30, Lands’ End is hosting Big Warm-up coat donation sites at its 252 Lands’ End Shops at Sears and 13 Lands’ End Inlets. Donated coats will be distributed in nearby communities.
As a thank you for your donation, Lands' End is giving 20 percent off the purchase of a new coat for each one donated.
Visit WWW.BIGWARMUP.COM to see how each coat can warm a heart, track donations, find donation sites, watch an inspiring video and spread the word.
