Nothing has been more anticipated in our home than the release of the brand new Thomas movie Hero of the Rails. I know I tell you over and over that my two-year-old is Thomas-obsessed. But what amazes me again and again is how much my five-year-old daughter enjoys watching with him.

began playing, my daughter exclaimed, "Thomas sounds different. And so does Toby. Oh, I love how Toby sounds!"

This DVD has an updated look and feel thanks to CGI animation. But I also like the old-time cartoonish opening credits that feature very simple animation.
