I've told you before that my son is obsessed with Thomas.Take this morning. I plucked him from his bed and the first thing he did was start rambling about Thomas and Toby and the "eye Sodor." (Island of Sodor)
His recent birthday party was Thomas-themed. Of course. That was a no-brainer.
Among his gifts were a few of the new Talking Railway engines.

But even the regular engines work. Sir Topham Hatt delivers messages such as "You're right on time today."
I was a little afraid that my two-year-old would break the crank right away. He's not exactly gentle with all of his toys. But it has held up to him cranking, and over cranking. He likes to not only lift the cargo with the crank, but also the engines, swinging them around and putting them back down.
