JCPenney Father's Day Slob to Suave Giveaway

JCPenney let me pick out a few things for my husband. Don't get me wrong, he's a dapper fellow. But he tends to wear the same polo-type shirts and shorts when he's not at work. I wanted to get him some clothes that were just a little but more hip and a bit younger (he recently hit the big 4-0).

BEFORE

I selected the St. John's Bay Exploration Cargo Shorts, those pockets are great for holding the Flip Camera at the zoo or park. I also like these St. John's Bay flat front shorts, because let's face it, pleating is not flattering on anyone.

AFTER

My husband likes collared shirts, so I picked out a St. John's Bay Short Sleeves Poplin Shirt with a subtle print.

I think this will be a great outfit for barbecues with friends because it is a bit more refined than shorts and a tee, yet will be comfortable on hot summer days.

When we went to the store, they were having such great sales that we actually purchased two pairs of the cargo shorts, two button down shirts, and two polos. Our receipt showed that we saved over 50% off our total purchase.
