Earth Day Arctic Tale DVD

Any fans of March of the Penguins out there? If so, this DVD is for you.
Set in the Arctic tundra, this movie tells the story of two friends, a polar bear and a walrus. It's narrated by Queen Latifah and has a great soundtrack by artists including music by Ben Harper, Aimee Mann and The Shins.
I received a review copy of this DVD and thought my pre-schooler would enjoy it. It was a little advanced for him, not in terms of subject matter, but his comprehension of the the Arctic and the challenging environment where the story takes place. Even though he may not understand it fully now, this is one I feel good about having him watch and I plan to hang on to and play it for him again later.
Almost as good if not better than the movie is the Arctic Tale Website which features profiles of the arctic animals and information about global warming. Definitely family friendly and a great way to teach your kids about Earth Day.
