My favorite Super Bowl snacks are super nachos!!!
My favorite superbowl snack is to make homemade flour tortillas, cut them up in triangles and fry them. Then I make a warm dip out of bacon, ranch seasoning, cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, etc. Those chips and dip are ADDICTING!!!
Nachos are so great! Sometimes is nachos with gooey melted cheese dip. Other times it's nachos covered in chicken taco meat and shredded cheese popped in the oven for a few minutes then dolloped with sour cream and/or salsa!

We go all out with Fritos chips and chili cheese dip. The children love pigs-in-a-blanket and sour cream and onion chips. We always have spinach dip and nachos with cheese too. It is an all affair with a homemade hershey chocolate cake decorated like a football. YUMMY!

We go all out for superbowl. There are chips,dip,chex mix,and wings during the game and a huge buffet for half time including 5 or 6 24 in subs cut into 3 inch sandwiches. The whole family is football fans and we spend the whole day together.

I just made an awesome dip for my book club Saturday night.
Here ya go:
Mix together 1 block softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup mayo and 1 Tb sugar. Spread this on a serving platter.
Spread almost to the edge (leave a little white showing) with basil pesto. Spread roasted red peppers or sundried tomatoes over that. Sprinkle chopped, marinated artichoke hearts over the top, then sprinkle with Italian style shredded cheese. Serve with crackers or fresh veggies. Refrig leftovers.
I don't like flavors, much, although in high school, it was anything goes, the sweeter the better. I did like the Dr P and the banana stuff.
Now I like chapstick medicated ones. CVS makes a knockoff that comes with a free mini stick that is teeny and is perfect for your purse bec it takes up NO space. I recently bought balm from the honeybee man. Haven't tried it yet. yea, I like chapstick and balms, too, when I'm not wearing actual lipstick. Burt's Bees makes a good line and they have a skinny stick with color in it that isn't too bad, kinda see thru color.

Here is the recipe
1 can of tomato paste
1 2 pound brick of velvetta
1 roll of sausage ( I use medium)

Brown sausage and drain.
Melt velveeta in the microwave and add the tomato paste. After cheese is melted add in the sausage and then spread mix onto rye bread and bake for 10 in 350* oven.

My mom's homemade Chex mix is insanely good. She uses the original recipe that she tore off of the cereal box back in'79 (or sometime around then), and she doctors it up a bit. It is beyond addictive, and I eat myself silly.
