Earthbound Farm is celebrating their 24th anniversary and they have released a wonderful cookbook called Food to Live By written by Myra Goodman. Myra and her husband Drew founded Earthbound Farm in 1984 when they began growing raspberries.You've no doubt purchased Earthbound Farm bagged salads in your local grocery, but this cookbook offers a wonderful range of recipes using fresh foods from appetizers, soups, and salads, to main courses (seafood, meat, and vegetarian), desserts, and drinks.
There are several things I love about this cookbook. Of course the beautiful photographs are eye candy for any foodie. I enjoyed reading the introduction where we learn how Earthbound Farm was founded by this couple and why they chose the organic route.
Additionally, I appreciate the sidebars located alongside the recipes that give tips on preparing and choosing ingredients and cooking them. For instance, with the Ziti with Ratatouille recipe are tips on peeling and seeding tomatoes.

To celebrate their 24th anniversary, they are featuring 24 of their favorite recipes on their website, such as California Waldorf Salad. Also check out their 24 reasons to choose organic.
Food to Live By is widely available in bookstores and online at Amazon.com. It would make a great addition to your kitchen bookshelf or a special present for anyone who likes good food.
