Hanes undies: Wedgie-free!

When I agreed to try out (well, have my daughter try out) Hanes' No Ride Up underwear for the Parent Bloggers Network, I had no idea that we'd be subjecting the "Comfort Fit Promise"--a money-back guarantee!--to such a rigorous test.

Then she got hit with appendicitis. In between her two hospitalizations, the box of undies arrived. She put one pair on immediately, and found that the soft cotton fabric and waistband was perfectly gentle on her tummy--no small feat after abdominal surgery. (The underwear is also tagless, another bonus.)

I proceeded to badger her for the rest of the afternoon: "Howzyer undies? Gotta wedgie?" (What's a wedgie, Mommy?) The answer? Always no. Funnily enough, the undies I had on that day were riding up something fierce. I was living vicariously through my child's Comfort Fit. (Oh good: Hanes does make No Ride-Ups for adults!)

At $12 for a pack of 9, these are a slam-dunk back-to-school buy. Check the Hanes site for all the essentials for both boys and girls: socks, undies, t-shirts, and more. And here are two ways to get your own for free. First, go see Leeanthro's recent post for The Full Mommy's own $25 gift certificate giveaway (check our Giving It Away sidebar for the link--deadline is 8/3). Next, watch out for the Parent Bloggers Network Blog Blast on 8/22 for a second chance to win comfy Hanes duds for your family.

These are the worst WEDGIE underwear I have ever worn! When I wrote to Hanes I received a polite "Thank you for your comments. We will inform our marketing department." NO REFUND!! The guarantee is a JOKE. I ended up throwing away 16 pairs because I tried several different sizes thinking maybe I had the wrong size. I'll never buy another Hanes product again.
