My Fruit Roll-Ups -- and yours too!

Recently my husband quizzed my daughter about most tradeable lunchbox items. We were surprised to learn that the hierarchy went something like:

Ice cream [unclear how this is a packable lunchbox item, but whatev] -->
trumped by Chee-tos --> trumped by Fruit Roll-Ups.
And then, the very next day (I'm completely serious), Parent Bloggers Network contacted me about My Fruit Roll-Ups. It turns out that along with personalized M&Ms and Kleenex boxes, now you can customize your sticky flattened fruit-flavored snacks too!

The design process is super simple, even though the options are many. My 6-year-old (a decisive little creature, I admit) had her design locked in within minutes. You choose a layout (two or three images, plus text, arranged in a repeating grid pattern), select pictures from a huge collection of clip art, and write your own text; you can even choose from a few different fonts. You can change the color in which your designs appear, too, athough I'm not sure how well this will translate onto a brightly colored slab of confection.

My daughter loved the idea and had fun choosing her images and writing her message. She wanted to add even more than the nine allotted squares to her crazy concoction. I wasn't all that impressed by the images; they're much more appealing to kids than adults, but then again so are Fruit Roll-Ups anyway.

We chose a Fourth of July design. I wish I'd known about My Fruit Roll-Ups in time for the kids' April birthdays or even for the soccer team treats we had to provide a few weeks back. This is a cute, clever, easy idea for a special occasion (a box of 30 treats is $30).

Try it free! I have a free order of customized Fruit Roll-Ups for one lucky reader, who will be chosen at random (the code is valid in the U.S. only, though). Please check out the My Fruit Roll-Ups site and leave a comment letting us know which design you'd pick if you win. Please please make sure your email address is in your profile or your message ... or else we cannot award you your fruity fun prize. Deadline: 6/15 at midnight Eastern time.
