Laundry Detergent: Not the sexiest blog topic but mommies, we can't live without it can we? (Stay with me, yes this is about laundry, but there is FABULOUS PRIZE attached!)
I tend to gravitate toward brands that I like. I don't enjoy collecting the dirties and loading them in and switching them from one machine to another, but I have to admit I love it having fresh clothes that are warm from the dryer smelling good.
But not too good. I don't usually go for detergents with heavy perfumes or scents. So I stick with Tide free for the soap and various Downy fabric softeners in multiple fragrances. To my taste, none are very overpowering, but still leave your dainties fresh.
I recently had the chance to try out some new Procter and Gamble Pure Essentials products: Tide, Downy, and Bounce Pure Essentials. Pure Essentials is made with Baking Soda (Tide), Aloe Vera (Downy/Bounce) and comes in two fresh scents – White Lilac and Lemon Verbena with Citrus Extracts.
I have to admit the scent was strong going in but just right coming out. The Lemon Verbena was glorious, but I'm partial to lemon myself. I prefer liquid fabric softeners but usually keep a box of dryer sheets on hand just in case I space out and run out or need something to stick in the kid's closet to freshen things up.
I was perfectly pleased with Pure Essentials. They retained the high quality product yet enhanced it with the new ingredients. I used them to wash all my beddings and I can't think of any reward better than collapsing into clean soft sheets at the end of a hard day. I was not disappointed.

Pick me! I love any thing scented! Although, with the laundry I have to be careful with mixing the scents from different products in different stages of the laundry. I need some one to invent good smels tha tcarry througn the whole laundry process.

Definitely need laundry stuff. And I love "essentials" stuff.
My boss always jokes around and says I am part labrador retriever because my sense of smell is so acute. I need fresh smelling scents around me in order to function but they can't be overwhelmingly perfumed otherwise I end up with a headache. I am always nervous about trying new laundry stuff but you mentioned it is not overly fragranced so I am hoping this will be the one I have been looking for! If I win it, I can try it without the fear of having spent a ton on soap only to have to pass it along to a friend because I can't use it. So here is to hoping I can be random enough to win!
