Perhaps you've never considered what you would do in the event of a zombie apocalypse, but I have. That's why I'm recommending the Sequoia Survival Co. Vehicle Survival Kit.

The kit, about the size of a bacci ball set or a small bowling ball, contains every useful thing that you might need in case of emergency and then some. It's got food and water for two days, first aid, gloves, rope, hand warmers, flares and more.
The applications for a kit like this are almost endless. Besides keeping one in every vehicle, they can be used in boats and RVs. If you live in hurricane zone like I do, or a tornado prone area, these kits would be a great addition to your home as well. Or just keep one in your basement in the event of a power outage.
We got a chance to use some of our gear on a recent primitive camping trip, another great way to use the survival gear. The hand-crank LED flashlight is much brighter than some of the earlier models and it's better than the one we had because in addition to the cell phone charger it also has a radio. This flashlight alone is a must-have these days and Jeff went crazy over the multi-use Gerber tool.
In the interest of giving a full report, I tried the water and the protein bars. The water, made to last for several years was fine, if a bit flat, but if you're in an emergency situation I don't think you'll mind drinking it. The protein bars reminded me of the first generation Power Bars. A bit chewy, but palatable and again if you find yourself in need of them, they'll get the job done.
I love this kit for my family and it would make an excellent gift for just about anyone. Sequoia has taken the time and effort out of assembling an almost exhaustive collection of survival materials and this is a gift that really shows how much you care.
Besides, you never know when you're going to run into zombies.

Happy Halloween, and watch out for zombies!
