The Poo was whining and crying earlier this week when she happened to catch an advert for the new Dora The Explorer primetime movie event, "Dora Saves The Mermaids."
I was saved, if you will, by the bell.
The doorbell - and our friendly DHL man dropped off a review package of DVDs from Nick Jr. and Noggin containing - you guessed it - the Dora DVD!
Suddenly I was no mere mommy - I was a goddess of epic proportions.
I highly recommend you Tivo, DVR or tape the Dora episode (Nov. 5, 7 pm EST) because my child is mesmerized by it. And watching her do the "Coconut Congo" cures whatever might ail me.
Inside the package was a copy of the SpongeBob Squarepants new adventure, Atlantis Squarepants.
We are not SB fans. But are you?
If you are, leave a comment and I will choose a winner at random. I'll send you my copy.

Thanks for the Dora reminder. My toddler will excited. My older boys enjoy SpongeBob...so I'm in on a contest!!
I've been lurking around your sites for a while (I found you through Dave Barry's blog) and I enjoy your work immensely. My four year old loves all things Bobbish and would be tickled yellow to have the new dvd. If you could enter JakeBob DroopyPants in your contest, he would be thrilled.
My daughters (6 and 11) LOVE Sponge Bob! Strangely... my son hates it!?
Sania - WHAT? I am on Dave Barry's blog??
And ps - I'll need an email address for ya to participate.
I would LOVE to win the SpongeBob DVD! I wish Nick Jr. had delivered that Dora DVD to MY house, my daughter is absolutely NUTS about Dora!
Sorry, I should be more specific. Either you commented or someone there linked one of your posts. If I remember correctly, I think you commented on something and I found Mrs. Chicken to be a curious moniker so I clicked to see where I would be led. Whatever the link was, it took me to your old blog and I've followed you here. Either way, I'm glad I found you. I will email my email and keep my fingers crossed.
I don't love SpongeBob, but the girls certainly do. It could be worse - they could like Oobi or Caillou.
