Meet a Body: Lara

Hi all! I'm Lara David, from Life: The Ongoing Education. There you'll find me writing all about the lessons I'm learning every single day, as I make my way through the treacherous jungle of my mid-20's.

I'm the Body who: Is not a mom. (Yet.) But don't let that discredit me - I've been a nanny in the past, and I'm currently a preschool teacher in a classroom of kids ranging from 20 months to 4.5 years. Besides, someone's gotta review the alcohol, right?

Best recent purchase: Bare Minerals makeup. If you're like me, and you've seen the infomercial hundreds of times but haven't worked up the nerve to try it yet, DO IT. The stuff is amazing - feels great on your face and looks flawless.

Worst recent purchase: Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer. It's sticky and uncomfortable, and the "kiss of color" is so bright and tacky that I looked like a Tiffany fan 20 years late for the concert.

Most frequent purchase: Shoes. Yep, I'm a bit of a shoe addict. In 2007 alone I've bought almost two dozen new pairs. And they're all FABULOUS.
