Meet another body: Binkytown

I'm Amy, otherwise known as Binkytown.

I blog there about my life and sad but true, yes, my son still has a Binky and he's 2 and-a-half. Actually he has about six of them, but he carries two with him everywhere he goes. Does this upset me? Yes. Enough to do something drastic about it? Not really.

I'm not a lawyer but I play one at work. Here are some other random bits you should know:

Things I can't live without: Aveda Products. Some of my favorites: Lip shine (totally will not dry out your lips) Replenishing Body Moisturizer and Rosemary Mint everything.

Real Celebrities I've met: Zero. But I did shake hands with President Clinton when he came to town (but he did not proposition me and I was not wearing a blue dress) and Eric Benet once held the door open for me at the gym, although I'm sure he actually really did want to have sex with me. (Really, he's got a documented sex addition, not because I'm hot).

Last book read: Buddhism For Mothers, by Sarah Napthali. I don't like to purchase books (My local library rocks and who needs another box of books in the basement? Not me.) but this is one I have to buy. I swear to god, it's like she dipped into my therapy session notes and wrote this book with me in mind. I really think it's full of useful bits that I would like to pull out and remind myself in two years, or five years or ten years from now. It's that good. Watch for more about it here.

Currently shopping for: Pants that are not Capri's. My god I'm sick of Capri's.
