Meet the Mommies

Editors

Cathy (Mayberry Mom) is a mom of two and a longtime writer and editor, first for magazines and now online. She lives in a wholesome little town in the Midwest with her husband, kids, and dog. She has a special interest in family fitness. And also ice cream.

Leighann has two little product testers at home. One of her children has Type 1 Diabetes, so she's always looking for low-carb, nutritious snacks and things to make daily life a little less hectic. Her family is mostly vegetarian (they do eat fish occasionally). She has a particular interest in products that are environmentally friendly and safe for children (i.e., free of phthalates, BPA, and all the nasty chemicals du jour). She jokes that her home houses more books than the public library, and they are always adding more to their card catalog! She was one of about 50 "mommy bloggers" recently invited to attend Johnson's Camp Baby. She can be read at Multi-Minding Mom where she dishes about family, food, foraging, and frivolity.
